Statistics of Import and Export Data of Photovoltaic Silicon Chips, Battery Chips and Components in China in the 1st Quarter of 2019

In the first quarter of 2019, China's exports of batteries totaled US$400 million, an increase of 35.71% over the same period last year, and its installed capacity was 2777 MW, an increase of 100.5% over the same period last year. They are mainly sold to Korea, India, Vietnam, Turkey and Germany. Among them, Aixu, Jingao, Tongwei, Shangde, Tianhe and Shunfeng Optoelectronics have accounted for about 50% of the global market.


In the first quarter of 2019, China's component exports totaled US$4.39 billion, an increase of 31.89% over the same period of last year, and its installed capacity was 16.78 GWMW, an increase of 77.63% over the same period of last year. Mainly Vietnam, the Netherlands, India, Japan, Australia as the main market.


In the first quarter of 2019, China's exports of batteries significantly decreased, with a total global export of 582 million US dollars, down 37.06% from the same period last year, and installed capacity of 1.346 billion units, down 11.19% from the same period last year. Most of them are sold to Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and India.
